CONFIDENTIAL6G at the 2025 EuCNC & 6G Summit — Highlights

The CONFIDENTIAL6G (C6G) project participated in the 2025 EuCNC & 6G Summit, held in Poznań, Poland, from 3 to 6 June 2025. The EuCNC & 6G Summit is a key annual event bringing together European research projects, industry representatives, and policymakers working on future communication networks and 6G technologies.

Shared Project Booth with ELASTIC and RIGOUROUS

Throughout the event, CONFIDENTIAL6G was present at a shared exhibition booth together with the ELASTIC and RIGOUROUS projects. The joint booth provided a space to present project objectives, ongoing technical work, and early results, while also highlighting complementarities across the three SNS JU projects.

The shared setup encouraged joint discussions with summit attendees, including researchers, industry stakeholders, and representatives of other European initiatives. It also supported cross-project exchange and visibility, enabling visitors to explore different approaches to security, confidentiality, and trustworthiness in future 6G networks within a single exhibition space.

Participation in the Workshop on 6G Trustworthiness

CONFIDENTIAL6G also took part in the Workshop on “6G Trustworthiness: Requirements, Challenges, and Considerations”, held on Tuesday, 3 June 2025, from 09:00 to 12:30. The workshop was co-organised by the 6G-IA Security Working Group and focused on security and trust aspects of future 6G systems.

The workshop brought together contributions and perspectives from nine SNS JU projectsROBUST6G, NATWORK, PRIVATEER, SAFE-6G, iTrust6G, MARE, VERGE, CONFIDENTIAL6G, and RIGOUROUS—as well as 6G Platform Germany. Discussions addressed common requirements, technical challenges, and open considerations related to building trustworthy 6G networks.

Through its participation, CONFIDENTIAL6G contributed to the collective exchange of views on trust, security, and confidentiality, and engaged in dialogue with other projects working on complementary aspects of 6G research.

Poster and Demonstration Contribution

In addition to booth and workshop activities, Muzammal Hoque from VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, a C6G project partner, presented a poster and demonstration during the summit. The presentation showcased elements of ongoing project work and enabled direct technical discussion with attendees on implementation aspects and research progress.

Engagement and Dissemination

Overall, participation in the 2025 EuCNC & 6G Summit supported CONFIDENTIAL6G’s dissemination objectives by combining exhibition, workshop participation, and technical presentations. The event provided multiple opportunities to engage with the wider 6G community, exchange insights with related projects, and increase awareness of the project’s work within a major international research and industry forum.
