CONFIDENTIAL6G Research Paper Presented at Eurocrypt 2024

CONFIDENTIAL6G Research Paper Presented at Eurocrypt 2024

Ignacio Cascudo from the IMDEA Software Institute, a partner in the CONFIDENTIAL6G (C6G) project, participated as a speaker at Eurocrypt 2024, held in Zürich, Switzerland, on 29 May 2024.

Eurocrypt is a well-established international scientific conference dedicated to cryptography and security research. The conference programme includes peer-reviewed contributions covering both theoretical foundations and practical cryptographic constructions. As part of the 2024 edition, Ignacio Cascudo presented a talk based on an accepted research paper, following the standard peer-review and selection process of the conference.

The presented paper addressed cryptographic aspects relevant to secure systems and protocols, with a focus on techniques that support confidentiality, correctness, and robustness in complex computing environments. The talk outlined the motivation behind the work, the main technical approach, and the key results achieved. Particular attention was given to how the proposed methods improve existing solutions or provide new insights into established cryptographic problems.

The presentation enabled detailed technical discussion with the conference audience, including questions and feedback from experts in cryptography and related security fields. This exchange contributed to the validation and further refinement of the research and supported knowledge sharing within the wider scientific community.

Participation in Eurocrypt 2024 supports CONFIDENTIAL6G’s dissemination strategy by ensuring that project-related research results are shared through high-quality, peer-reviewed scientific venues. It also strengthens the project’s links with the international cryptography research community and contributes to the long-term impact of the project’s work on secure and trustworthy digital infrastructures.
